FOREWORD
After two years of hardship and uncertainty caused by the covid-19 pandemic, in which the entire artistic, musical and cultural sector has suffered enormous and incalculable damages, Associazione Giovanile Musicale "A.Gi.Mus." continues unabated with its mission to support good music and young musicians. For this reason, it announces the 13th edition of the International Music Competition "Francavilla Fontana - Città degli Imperiali", which, for the first time, will be carried out in two ways: "in presence" and "online", as chosen by the candidates.
ART. 1 - ORGANIZATION AND PURPOSE
The 13th International Music Competition "Francavilla Fontana - Città degli Imperiali" is organized by A.GI.MUS. - Associazione Giovanile Musicale - Francavilla Fontana Section - and aims at promoting musical culture, musical institutions, young and very young musicians, as well as the city of Francavilla Fontana, the Province of Brindisi and the whole Region of Apulia. This Competition is under the patronage of MIUR - Ministry of Education, University and Scientific Research - and MIBACT - Ministry of Artistic, Cultural and Tourism Heritage, the Cultural Department of the Municipality of Francavilla Fontana and the Municipal Music School "Città di Francavilla Fonta na". Associazione Giovanile Musicale "A.Gi.Mus" is also accredited to the F.U.S. (Fondo Unico della Spettacolo), established by the MIBACT - Ministry of Artistic, Cultural and Tourism Heritage.
ART. 2 - METHODS OF EVENT
The 13th International Music Competition "Francavilla Fontana - Città degli Imperiali" will take place in two different ways, according to the candidates' choice: "in presence" and "online". The mode of participation will be indicated by the candidates at the time of their registration. The Competition will take place in Francavilla Fontana, at the Auditorium of Municipal Music School "Città di Francavilla Fontana", at 43, Via Trento, in the month of May 2022, with dates already established and which arenlisted below.
ART. 3 - APPLICATIONS
Applications for the 13th International Music Competition "Francavilla Fontana - Città degli Imperiali" must be submitted (both "in presence" and "online") no later than MONDAY, MAY 9th, 2022, by filling out an online form specifically provided on the official website of the competition, at the following address www.agimusfrancavilla.com. Candidates who opt for the "online" participation method are required to send their files no later than Monday 16th May 2022, through the we transfer platform with destination email agimusfrancavilla@gmail.com, or by sending the link following their own upload on YouTube.
ART. 4 - SECTIONS AND DATES OF EVENT
The Competition, with Single Round, is structured in 5 Sections and will take place as specified below:
I SECTION - PIANO - will take place on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th May 2022 with times to be defined according to the number of entrants;
I SECTION - GUITAR - will take place on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd May 2022 with times to be defined according to the number of entrants;
III SECTION- STRINGS - will take place on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd May 2022 with times to be defined according to the number of entrants;
IV SECTION - WINDS - will take place on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd May 2022 with times to be defined according to the number of entrants;
V SECTION - CHAMBER MUSIC - will take place on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd May 2022 with times to be defined according to the number of entrants;
