Oleg CAETANI

Oleg Caetani is an internationally acclaimed conductor renowned for his work in both symphonic and operatic repertoire. He has appeared at leading venues including La Scala, the Royal Opera House, the Mariinsky Theatre, the Musikverein, Lincoln Center, and Suntory Hall, collaborating with major orchestras such as the Staatskapelle Dresden and Munich Philharmonic. Trained in Rome, Moscow, and St. Petersburg with masters including Ilya Musin, he was deeply influenced by Nadia Boulanger. Former Music Director of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, he is especially celebrated for his interpretations of Shostakovich. Alongside his international career, he actively mentors young conductors and musicians.
